surface array

Hello Michael!

Is Surface Array possible in Moi. I mean that it work like the texture methods in average 3D softwares. So the specified form (joined curve or splines) would be streched trought the surface.

Hi Andras, there is not currently a way to directly array an object over a surface, but depending on what you need to do you may be able to accomplish it by projecting some curves on to the surface and then using Array curve.

In general MoI does not currently have a lot of deformation type tools to squish things around to conform to other shapes.

That is something that I want to add in the future but it is a pretty difficult area to make work well, especially for deforming solids. In its newest v4 release Rhino has added some tools to do those kinds of deformations, for now you will need to use Rhino to perform these kinds of tasks.
