I come across a publication from the 2008 siggraph, witch led me to http://www.surfquake.com/. What is very very INTERESTING is that {SurfQuake surfaces may be converted to a NURBS representation for use with SMLib}.
From what I understand SMLib & Solis++ they come from the some "family". Does that make it easier for MoI to introduce a subdivision surfaces Toolset?

thanks in advance. any info is more than welcome.

Hi yannada, it is certainly a possibility that may help!

But there is also a large amount of UI work that would need to be done since sub-d surfaces require a quite different toolset than MoI's current toolset.

So it is just not something that is going to happen very soon, but certainly that library is worth checking out.
