Hi Michael, I would like to edit some of my gallery entries, is it too much work for you to add some options which allow the user to erase and replace pictures from the gallery like it is already possible with thread attachments?
Thanks in advance!
Dan

Hi Dan, unfortunately the gallery is a completely separate thing from the forum and I don't right now have any easy way to set it up for you to edit it directly like you can with the forum.

But you can e-mail any edits that you would like to make to me at moi@moi3d.com and I can then modify the image files or text directly.

Also another option would be for you to just enter a new gallery item with your updated stuff and then let me know which old entry to remove, that might be easiest.

Do you want to combine those 3 Atari 2600 shots (2 new ones plus the previous joystick) into one entry?

That model and render turned out awesome by the way, I used to have one of those! :)

Hi Michael ...
If you would like to add my recent building rendering to the gallery please do so ... but as it is a collaboration of programs it may not be appropriate??

Hi Eric, I think it's fine to have gallery items that use multiple programs, so long as MoI was one of them of course! :)

That's actually quite normal, particularly to have renderings done using other programs.

So I added your image there, thank you!

I included your description, please let me know if you want me to edit the description.

Hi Michael,
thank you for the quick reply!
The console in the first two renders I posted has got a wrong shape that I fixed in the next picture.
What I need to do is group the joystick and the last Atari 2600 render, and delete the other pictures.
If you can do it for me, thank you very much!
Hope that in the future each user will be able to edit his own posted images, so that you won't burden yourself with yet another job!
Cheers
Dan

Hi Dan, I've got that fixed up now, please let me know if it isn't right.

The tricky part about allowing edits of the gallery would be making it use some kind of sign-in system so that everything was not just open for anyone to edit. It would take some time to develop that part of the gallery.

So currently it is just less work overall for me to handle doing any edits myself, it really only takes a moment for me to do an edit like this, not a big deal at all! :)
