Hi Burr, I've thought a little bit about maybe making the xyz coordinate entry box in the bottom area of the window work for this.

With recent versions of v2 you can hit the Tab key to put focus in that box without activating that pop-up panel (which normally is triggered if you click there instead).

So you would do something like type: <tab>light1<enter> .

Does that seem like it would work?

Do you think that is too complicated of a process to get to the commands enter area?
(Don’t answer that)

Probably the only way to make it better would be to try the new “Neural Emulation Drivers”, Eliminating the need for any Neuromuscular Nerve activity and bypass the physical and activate the process by mere telepathy.

Have you put any time in on this yet?

Hi Burr, since it doesn't involve creating any new UI, it should probably not be very hard to set up for the next v2 beta.

That's kind of a big tipping point - if you can think of a way to pretty easily re-use some existing UI to do a new function rather than creating a new chunk of UI, that makes it much easier for me to make that happen more quickly.

Thats good news.

Possibly some action or delimiter to differentiate between Scripts and commands short of typing ".js"?

Thanks again

(If I type "Hello" it could say "Hello Burr" back!)

Hi Burr, I probably should just take a look to see if I can find the file in either the \commands subfolder or \scripts subfolder and act accordingly depending on where it was located.
