I made shortcut Ctrl+M=Mirror but for some reason it does not work for mirror it repeats the last command
Can you tell me please why.
It is not awfully important I just wonder why?
I have a whole bunch of shortcuts with Ctrl all work but Ctrl+M=Mirror
Ctrl+B=Blend
Ctrl+C=CopyClipboard
Ctrl+E=Extend
Ctrl+F=Fillet
Ctrl+L=Loft
Ctrl+M=Mirror
Ctrl+N=New
Ctrl+O=Open
Ctrl+P=Polyline
Ctrl+R=RotateAxis
Ctrl+S=Save
Ctrl+V=Paste
Ctrl+X=Cut

Thanks
Olga

Hi Olga,

Indeed, looks like Ctrl+M is hard coded to repeat the last command, whatever the assignment you made.

Hi Olga, this looks like a bug where Ctrl+M is mistakenly being treated the same as the Enter key. I should be able to fix this up for the next v2 beta.

In the meantime you can use just plain "M" for that particular one instead of Ctrl+M .

Thanks for reporting this bug!

Hi Olga, it turns out that Ctrl+M is a kind of ancient special code for "Enter", and by default Windows tries to generate an enter keystroke when you push it. You can see this for example if you open up Notepad and then type Ctrl+M - it will have the same effect there as pushing Enter.

In MoI pushing Enter is equivalent to pushing a "Done" button if there is one showing, or if not then repeating the last command, so that is the explanation for what you ran into here.

For the next v2 beta I have fixed this up so that when you have a shortcut defined for Ctrl+M, it will override this default behavior and not treat it as an enter key.

Thanks for reporting this bug!
