Well I'm not ready to buy a licence at the moment, will try the demo first.
Looks like the main focus of this app are softwares like snapshots, that completely depend on hdr image map to lit the scene, and where you can't create you
env map yourself.
Yes today every softwares can render spherical hdr map I guess, but the setup time is slow compare to this more less realtime solution, you have many time left for experiment. I agree for the price, but hdr collection are quite expensive too, and you don't have any freedom except turing the map around until you get the reflection you want.
