Hi Michael ...

It would sure be handy to have a 3D scale function. Now and then a 3D object needs to be changed a little in all directions.

I haven't found a way to do this in MoI ... am I missing something?

cheers,
eric

Hi Eric,

The standard scale is 3D - the one that is just labeled 'Scale'.

Regards
Tony

Hi Eric - are you talking about a "Non-Uniform" 3D scale where you can enter in different scales for x, y, and z ?

You can get that done by using Scale1D 3 times, one time for each direction.

Another way that may be easier is the new size editor in the newest Nov-21 v2 beta, that allows you to pop up a little panel to edit the size of the object and there is a checkbox there named "Maintain proportions", which if you uncheck it will allow you to set the sizes separately.

Some more notes on the size editor here:

And a demo:

Thanks, guys ..

Yeah, the standard default symbol looked to me like a 2D would occur .. so I did not try it. Pretty dumb.

The default works just like I wanted it to.

cheers,
eric
