I'm curious why you would want to do that?

It is possible to do that, but you do have to edit the moi.ini file, look for the [UI] section and edit the entry for MaxNumRecentFiles:

[UI]
MaxNumRecentFiles=15


The default is 15. I actually have mine set to 25 so I can see even more.
