Hi Nicola, yes it is possible to switch to rotate by the middle mouse button by changing a setting in the moi.ini file.


First shut down MoI and then open up moi.ini in a text editor like notepad.

You can find moi.ini here (on Windows XP, on Vista it is slightly different):
C:\Documents and Settings\ [your login name] \Application Data\Moi\moi.ini

Inside the [View] section there will be a setting:

SwapPanRotateMouse=n

edit this to say:

SwapPanRotateMouse=y


Then when you start up MoI it should be set up so that it will rotate by the middle button and pan by holding down the right button instead of the normal behavior.

In Sketchup it's rotate by the middle button "pressed" and not "only rolled"
is it the same?
