Thanks a lot for the VERY fast reply. Tho it's not ideal (in a company environment with tight
security requirements and generally USB sticks are read-only via security policies).
But it does sound like a workaround. I will evaluate MoI and talk the IT.

Re: USB keys - if the USB keys are not allowed, another similar method would be to burn CD-ROMs, with a different license file on each CD-ROM.

Then similarly you hand out or collect back CD-ROMs as a kind of physical check-in / check-out system...

It may be a bit odd, but it may handle what you need with the floating...
