I don't know how to debug this, but I don't have the grid snapping working anymore on my office workstation.
I don't use it quite often so I only discover this today. It has nothing to do with the beta releasse, it was allready not working in the old beta.

So I suppose it has something to do with the gfx board settings, or maybe my hardware.

Any idea how I can solve this ?

(Sun workstatiom, XP64, Quadro FX 4600)

Hi PaQ, do you also have v1 there, and does it also have the same problem?

And you have the Grid snap button enabled, right ? I mean Grid snap is highlighted in orange on your bottom toolbar.

Other than that, what is your setting under Options / Grid / Snap size: did that get set possibly to a strange value?

It's not likely to be anything graphics card related - grid snapping happens in some pretty simple code that is just general CPU processed, it shouldn't really be effected by any graphics card stuff.

Also are you testing this with a completely blank scene?

My mistake, the snap size was so small compared to the grid size that I didn't see/feel it when drawing.
