I can't talk for him, but if you visit his website you'll see that 80% of his work are rendered with fryrender.
They are some famous one :) (I remember the little red truck tutorial).

Maybe the confusion comes form the fact he's using ciname 4d to host fry.

hi PaQ noooo not 80% there are more normal GI renders there than you think :) , but yes since unbiased engines came out i have used them more and more in my works. the red firetruck was maxwell (beta) ahhh the good old days. now i use fryrender as my unbiased option.
since i have bought moi i have used c4d to bring them in and set up to render in fryrender, but have also used c4d's AR3 to render moi items. using fry on the moi models allows me to test if the object will have any issues in the unbiased engines IE flipped surfaces etc etc.
bottom line is moi, c4d (+AR3) and fry play really nice together and allow me to do my job :)

I love seeing those clean n-gon wireframes in Cinema4D!!!

It is so completely the opposite of what you'd normally get with other programs NURBS polygon exports.

Sometimes I forget I'm in an international forum and not everybody knows who "Jay Leno" is or what the saying "Eat your heart out" means!

Just for anyone looking that didnt know, Eat your heart out can be explained like this:

Theres a guy who always walks into a room with a great looking girl, and he gives you a look like..."Pfff, you loser!" Then one day you meet the most beautiful woman in the world. When you walk into a room with her ALL the guy's drop jaw... and one day you see "mr. pff" sitting in the corner with no girl, and you give him a wink and think...Eat your heart out!

There is an online dictionary that defines it as this:

"something that you say which means that you or someone you know can do something better than a person who is famous for doing that thing."

Burr
Have an "in depth" read of all this stuff if you can.

Real, meaningfull, appropriate, sensible use of the English language!

Brian
(Does it explain a lot?)
