blend3d - That's the most accurate version yet.

How did you make the torx pocket with curved bottom?

I would have extruded the torx outline, trimmed the bottom with a curve, then subtracted this solid from the screw head.

Looks like you may have an easier method?

Ed

blend3ds image shows the leftover lines indicating that he did just that!

Threads are done using a Helix for the path.
(some quirks in using which may be helped in the coming V2 update beta?)

Nope, I haven't had a chance to work on that yet...

Sorry for the delay guys, work has been....interesting (LOL).

I did just what you guys gathered from the left over lines; create a negative of the torx pocket and boolean it with the head. Same strategy with the screw threads and conical point at the tip. I just love the booleans, it really makes life easy.

You are the best ;)
How you create the background building ? Is that come from image or real 3D ?

I still mainly use Carrara6Pro for my major 3D work. (other than, now, MoI for modelling)

Over the few years I have saved HUGE amounts of stuff, both my own, and otherwise free for downloading.
This has all, mainly, been added to my Carrara Browser from whence I can drag items into a scene as the inspiration grabs me.

In this instance I used a couple of Dystopia Building sets for the background.
The trees were done in Carrara itself.

Brian

(for some queer reasom this was posted into another thread?)
