Hi Dave,

Looks really nice,

You're using Fry right ? If so, which 3D software are you using to host fryrender ? (I suppose 3dsmax :P)
Just wondering what's your workflow :)

Excellent work (as always)!

Yes I'm curious too about the workflow. I'm trying to find the best way for pass moi models in 3DS Max for rendering with fryrender, but I still have some problem with transparent object.

Anyway you are enjoing moi!

Yes----not as easy as first thought!
Good practice exercises.

Rendered in Carrara6Pro from MoI .obj file save.

Brian

ps--I think I will go back to my favourite image format--B&W!

Hi Dave - for 3DS Max instead of OBJ I would recommend using the new FBX export that is in the current MoI v2 beta (Sep-21 version).

However, there is a bug in MoI's FBX exporter regarding welding - you need to expand the mesh dialog and uncheck the "Weld vertices along edges" option for now when exporting to FBX. This is fixed up for the next beta release.

Then on top of that, make sure you've got the newest FBX importer plugin for Max, which you can get here:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=10775855

That combination should work a lot better for exporting data into Max than OBJ.

For Cinema4D OBJ export works great.
