Also one quick note on FBX export from the current v2 beta - there is a bug in MoI's FBX export when you have welding enabled. So for the current v2 beta expand the meshing options dialog by pushing the arrow in the lower left corner, and uncheck the "Weld vertices along edges" option.
This will be fixed up for the next v2 beta to have welding work properly.
