Probably not going to be very possible to add into MoI before version 11 or 12 or so though...

Since it is something that you want to have automatically generated, is there any big advantage to having it built directly into MoI instead of as a separate program that would do the generation for you and produce the output?

Seems to me like that would be suited for a separate program that loaded CAD data and produced that kind of output, rather than something that was built directly into MoI.

I'd be very suprised that anything automated would output the way you wanted it to. I can't recall anything 100% automated that you did not have to tweek. It looks like a great idea but Acrobat 3D already does this to some extent. It's not quite as intelligent as this appears to be with the view dependency though.
