I work with a wacom screen/tablet 21UX and a Spaceball 5000.
In Moi it feels very natural, very real.
You moves the scene like the audi in the first video and you construct objets with the pen like in the 2nd video.
>>You moves the scene like the audi in the first video...
Is that with your hands or with the spaceball ?
I've been using the spaceball for 6 years now and it's like an extra hand, without it, feel's like something's missing.
in fact I use my hand on the rubber ball.
I can have full time my right hand over the space ball and keep permanently the wacom stylus in my left hand as we need so little the keyboard.
Moving the model with the spaceball is even more immersive than what we see on the video as there is all 6 degrees of freedom.
mmmm, good point Nick I didn't think about the screen size and our hands, that's why it looked so good in the video, they're using a kick ass size screen :)
The hands getting in the way is one of the reasons why MoI's view control panel (with stuff like zoom/rotate/pan) is at the bottom of the viewport rather than up at the top of it.
But yeah I mean if you put your hand over the display for other things it is going to cover it up, I don't really see how I can really eliminate that totally...
