Hey guys,
thanks for the reply and comments. very appreciated.
will try and post a wire frame when I finish the model.

In the meantime, I wanted to try the moi3d model with
and hdri in the rendering software (electric image).
my first attempt!

Definitely an improvement already, adds a lot of depth.

I think the rather crisp shadow doesn't match the reflected environment very well now though...

had some more time to work on the car.
Here is a small render... I want to finish it before I post a big one!

I'm not completely happy with the headlights yet, but I wanted to post the progress so far.
