Most of it was simple parts, I think the thing I would do over was the sweep to form the piece that joins the top and bottom. It turned out OK because I was really try to get my points correct on the line but I should not have created a line with a center line on a piece that straddles centerline of the model. Doing that can lead to a crowning surface right at the center. I should have used grid snapping and layed down and then adjusted points with symmetry. It still came out OK but it bothers me.
I think this will be my final for this, really happy the way it turned out and I had a lot of advice on adjusting my render setting for a better final image so big thanks to all who offered guidance.
I started with a circle, adjusted a few points and then trimmed it off in the top view to make the panel side flat. I then used a curve through point line to make the bent area, mirrored and joined all together. Then swept a circle along the curve. I've attached my top piece for you to look at.
My effort was ALL made up of arcs. Doing mirrors as Grendel said.
I revolved the group to get the side angle slope, then, in the front view, did a trim of the downpointing lugs appropriate to the shape of the machine.
