Hi BurrMan,

I agree, but reading the arguments people
have the tendency to go away from from
the principle topic/question,giving us to much
unnecesary information

So i suggest a separate 'Moi3d Cafe'
for general discussion

I know people like to talk(human nature),
so am I

Hi Paolo, some extra discussions and extra information is just inevitable in any kind of discussion forum.

A separate general discussion area is an interesting idea, but I think it will cause some other problems - having things split up into multiple sections makes it more difficult to post a topic since you have to decide where it will be, and then there gets to be additional discussion when people post to the wrong section...

I much prefer having things all in one section, that makes it much easier for someone to post because there is only one place to put the post, and browsing all the messages is much easier because you just go to one list to see all new messages. These are very significant benefits that I am hesitant to disrupt...

But we'll see... If there starts to be a significant trend with many messages that could clearly go in a different section then that could work out ok despite the problems. But I have not really seen that kind of a clear separation.

Hi All...

I am agree with Michael to put all in one place, to many category make me tired.
For the forum how about :

1. add ability to put smile icon ( like in YM )
2. List of who is online, so we can see that we are not alone :)

Thanks !

I find this forum well done and pretty right on track.

Actually, there is a lot less sidetracking here than in many sites.

Hi Anis,

> 1. add ability to put smile icon ( like in YM )

Actually the forum software supports this but I have turned it off, I find those to be kind of distracting. Having those off I think helps make a more semi-professional kind of atmosphere instead of only a kind of total chat room atmosphere...

But if you would like, you can upload an image and use it inside of a message by typing in an tag within your message though - that will show any image of your choice within your message.

That's another thing that was in the forum which I disabled, it was also a kind of distracting bunch of information, it seemed to take some focus away from the message content.

It helps to keep the forum slightly spare, that makes the focus more on message content than other stuff.
