A Tuesday Building

I started this about lunchtime today. No preconcieved design ideas, just made up as I was going along. Probably some very bad building principles.

Just a trial shader/render in Carrara.
Getting all the shading, lighting, and appropriate scene will be fun for another day.

Great job Brian, your initial render is looking good already.

Sometimes it is fun to just draw without a plan in mind and let your imagination guide you, it was definitely my hope to enable that kind of thing with MoI.

I think this is enough with shaders and rendering.
Was a good fun exercise.

Apart from adding a .mov file with a Vicky 4!! or several fairies dancing around the Plaza I think I have done enough with this project.

REALLY good fun thanks to MoI! (And Carrara!)

No.

Seeing all the versions and, then, seeing that Michael was still adding something in a V2 version I though I would wait.
Thanks.

This is another test rendering of the approach to the central tower atrium.
MoI did a really great job!

Hi Brian,

Have you ever build a 3D house or another architecture model in MoI ?

Not really.
I have the ArchiTools plugin (and all the associated freebee parts) in my Carrara app whenever I need that sort of stuff.

If you need another way for that you may like to look at the current fairly cheap version of Via CAD.

Though, for day to day quick approach, I still would start first with MoI probably.

Yup, MoI is my favorite CAD software today. I always looking forward for improvement in the next release of MoI.
