Hello,
i had read on several web pages that Parallels 4 (coming soon) will contain full support of DirectX9.
I hope that all problems solved with the new Parallels version.

Hi there,

just installed Parallels 4.0 and Windows XP/SP2 on a MAC OS 10.5.8 and, what can I say, without any additional adjustments MoI runs as fine as it does on a regular Windows computer.
So far so good and because I haven't tried the whole functionality of MoI yet, I'll report any trouble in case there will be some.

Hi ,

I'm running MoI with parallels 3 without problem, i'm beta testing parallels 5 right now,
and MoI is running faster on 5.

Check is you are on the lastest parallels 3 release, and i believe you have to unchecked
hardware directx or something like that under parallels configuration, try many video setting
you will make it works

A+

PS: as i see the lasted relaeased is 5608 !

I've got a MacBook Pro and have able to run all versions of MOI under Parallels 3 and 4. The big difference I found was that under Parallels 3 I could never get out of the 4 Window Mode (Top, Perspective, Front, Right) and go to single Window Mode without crashing. Parallels 4 fixed that and I've never had a problem with it since upgrading some months ago. I would strongly suggest going to 4 unless 5 is just right around the corner. I think an upgrade is something like $39 or so. I think Direct X 9 is supported under Parallels 4 so you can play a number of Windows games if you're into that.

Good luck.
