Hi,

Are there any new tutorial videos for MoI that anyone has found (or, made) other than the tutorial links on the site?

How well, or not, is anyone's experience exporting a base mesh to ZBrush?

Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of...

I've heard that people have gotten good results going to ZBrush using OBJ format, with Output: Quads & Triangles (ZBrush does not handle n-gons well, so you want to switch n-gons off when you export from MoI), and also using the "Divide larger than" setting to dice polygons up into smaller more evenly sized pieces also helps a lot, there is an illustration of that here:

Thanks.

For anyone interested in posting their own MoI video tutorial, there is a thing called the Jing Project at:

http://www.jingproject.com/

It's free for now and the res is high, OK frame rate, and it's full screen (no audio). I've used it, it's great. Techsmith (Camtasia) is doing a test martket I guess. I haven't heard of a size limit, and Techsmith tells me the free offer will last for some time still.

There is also Slideshare which is really good for making slide show tutorials. I saw one for an open-source box modeling program and I found stuff really sinks in fast with this simple type of Powerpoint type of presentation, maybe better than a video because you control the progress step by step.

Adding to post above. Apparently you CAN have audio with your video. Also, I think it's a 2G limit.
