When I click download button, kaspersky denied access for the detect of "Trojan-GameThief.Win32.OnLineGames.arut"

What' wrong?

It sounds like something is wrong with your Kaspersky installation... Do you have any way to force and update of its virus library? Maybe the library has become messed up and is confusing the virus checker.

Other than that, I guess you may need to temporarily disable it while you download MoI.

I did just update the download method to use a slightly different method which also allows for download pause and resume type stuff, maybe that will help with your problem as well, so you might want to try again now.

I'm really not sure why Kaspersky did not like the link, you would probably need to contact their tech support to find out about that.

What happens if you use Kaspersky to scan the beta setup.exe file now after you have downloaded it? Does it still complain about it?

I've got Kaspersky on my other box but I didn't download the beta on that box, I can try it to see if I get the same result, can I download the beta again since I've already downloaded it ?

Downloaded MoI 2 beta with Kaspersky on: no issues.
Scanned downloaded file manually: no issues.

but when I did scan a file after download, there are no problem.

and now I retried with kaspersky enable, there are no problem. :)

you "MAY HAVE" trojan game theif and it gets involved in your downloads! Go to safe mode and do a full system scan.

Once you use the new "Draw on surface" to draw a curve, and 'merge' to punch a chunk out, is there any way to move that chunk out from the object along the surface normal?

Hi Crusoe, you should be able to use Transform/Move for that. Pick the base point for the move on to the chunk piece, and then for the second point make sure you have Straight Snap enabled in the bottom toolbar, and you should then be able to get a "Normal" straight snap which you can track along to do that.

It can help a bit to rotate to view from the side a bit when looking for the normal snap, if the normal is pointing straight at you it will be harder to track along.

Also there's a bug in the first beta if you use a "Cen" snap for the base point, the surface normal won't activate in that case but that is fixed up for the next beta.

If that doesn't seem to work for you, could you please post a model file (or e-mail to me at moi@moi3d.com) with the pieces in it so I can take a look?

The normal snap will not activate during just a simple drag - I had thought about this a bit, but I think to do that would also mean enabling perp and tangent snaps when dragging a curve to drag along the curve's own perpendicular from that point... It just seemed kind of weird to have a curve kind of snap to itself like that during dragging.
