Camera position and target

Hi,

By any chance, is it possible to retrieve the coordinates of the perspective camera's position and target?

I have a project where I want to combine vector lines and a render, so being able to reproduce the same perspective in the polygon 3d application would be convenient.

Regards,

Marc

Hi Marc, sorry there isn't any way to do that currently directly in MoI. You can retreive the direction of the view under Options / View / 3D view angles, but not currently the camera or target 3D point positions.

But if you save your file and open it in Rhino, you can use Rhino's "ViewportProperties" command to get at that info.

yes but if you put all your objets at the center of a "big wireframe box"
I suppose then you press "Reset" you will have always the same view ;)
So now just make the same rotation view, Zoom (Rotate & Scale / the origin ) with any difficulty ;)
