Hello here,

Here's a wip of a little space fighter I'm working on. Still have lots of little details to add, and some fillet here and there to adjust.
But the main part is done I guess.

Hope you'll like it ;)

Looks great already PaQ - it's cool to see the wireframes with some of the extended curves (for boolean cuts?), that gives a lot of "concept sketchy" type feel to those screenshots. An interesting contrast with the final rendered style.

Very good construct lines! Clean style!
Cool wip indeed!
Bravo!
Remember the method of Cristobal Vila for another vehicle ;)

Wow very nice looking ship Paq love the details. I was also thinking of doing a new spaceship myself this program really would work great for this. Keep it coming.

Very cool PaQ,
Actually, I could probably pick out your work, you have your own style in your models.

Thanks for sharing
~Danny~

Amazinnnnggggg.... and great design... !! I love It .

PaQ, do you expects to do a tutorial to learn us , and share your strong skills in MOI?
I 've still difficulties to do this kind of shape in MOI, so it will be very helpfull.( at least a short tutorial ;) )
It would be very kind.

Congrats again.;

Hello everyone,

I'll first thank you for your nice comments, it gives me all the energy I need to finish the model !

So I'll try to reply to every question/remarks

> Thanks Michael, yes the all the construction lines were used for trimming/booleans, I have lost (clean) some of them during the modeling process, and indeed
I like the sketchy look it give to the object.

> Frenchy Pilou, Yes I was quite inspired from Cristobal Vila way of working, it was the first nurbs 'tutorial' I read when I have started Moi few months ago, thanks
to posting it ;)

> Nick, well I do agree I can't wait for the objet/layers manager, however even with many objects I still have a good workflow, thanks to some scripts (like the one
to select every curves). I also have 2 or 3 session of Moi open, one with the complete model and the others to work on some parts that I have extracted (copy/paste).
So I have some kind of layers system.

Btw I will point it again, but I'm still amazed by Moi stability. Not a single crash since I'm use it in fact Oo. I'm really not used to this :)

> -ash- ... it's modo here.

> alexxx_95, well doing a usefull tutorial is something quite hard to do, for exemple this model wasn't made so easily, I did and re-did a lot of parts, because
of a lack of design question, or just because I didn't like the blending, or the continuity between 2 pieces. If one day I'm able to create something like this in one
hour why not, but I"m still learning nurbs myself, so I don't fell like I can teach someone.

That's said, basically, what I did here is a lot of booleans and trimming between curves ;)

*** Sorry for the spelling mistake in the thread tittle, it's a space fighter, seems that I can't edit that :P

Hi PaQ,

Looking good there.

The front of your ship reminds me a little of the ship in Aliens vs Predator.

I will have to get back into building sci-fi again.

Keep up the good work

Hello there,

Here's a little update ... next step, adding some 'random' details on the main body :)

Ok it's the last update for now :)
Color are a bit saturated and contrasted, but it's not a bad think.

For the little story this ship will be used for a little shoot'em up game, something really simple (it's a two guys team, and we can only
work on it during our free time). So this little 2.5 millions polygons baby has to be converted in 1 or 2 thousand triangles :)

Cheers
