I have got myself diverted from this, really as I started to look more at surface construction with network->Blend->network, with the control lines left I am finding some interesting results and started thinking that I can build a car shell in MoI without the need of other 3d applications.

Anyway, I did rebuild the front of the jeep due to a number of reasons, then added the inside covers (front wheels) and base frame. I will come back to this, but not until I have finished playing with surfaces.

Looks great.
I just can not yet grasp some of the building shapes clearly from the drawings or photos.
Im'e think of just making something approximate --but I think that would annoy the purists!
May try to look at again today.

Its only a model for rendering, so just guess, I do.
