I don't know specifically, but you'll want to check for FEA and CFD type software, possibly something here would be able to do it: http://ansys.com/ . I'd imagine it probably will cost a few hundred thousand dollars though.

Sorry, again, but I am a bit lost on both the question and answer.

The 3dm file file could be taken into Carrara ,textures added, propellor rotated, a landscape created, the plane organised to fly around in a movie.

Hi Brian, I thought he was asking if there was a way to determine if the plane would be airworthy and actually fly in real life if it that design was physically constructed...
