Or you can use the custom Distance Script, which I find more useful, but to each his own.

Also one way you can see width and height at the same time is use Draw curve / Rectangle to draw a rectangle that frames your object, and watch the Width: and Height: readout in the upper-right options area.

But generally right now MoI is focused on giving you the tools to specify exact lengths, widths, and heights as you are creating an object.

So for example if you draw a box you can enter an exact coordinate for the corner of the box, and there are options for entering specific sizes for all its dimensions.

So in general, if you need something of a particular size the idea is to make it that size right away and then you don't need to worry about looking at what size it is later on, you already know it is what you wanted.

But I do plan on adding a bunch of things for v2 that will give more information about an object like this.

thanks,all of you friends ~

and,the other way,
there is only "Scale" tool,
but I can not just modify object's size with width or width,
I hope v2 can do this also.

ps.I love MoI,and I love this forum too ^^

Yup, I'm going to try to make that possible for v2.

I use a utility called Screen Calipers with all my graphics programs. It's a caliper than sits on top of your application and allows you to calibrate units and measure distances, even on a angle. I often use it to scale an object in reference to one of a known size.

Hi Jason,

>>>but I can not just modify object's size with width or width

If you are just trying to change an object width for example, then use the scale 1d. Click on the first corner, then let the cursor snap to the other corner, if you then check the readout at the bottom of the screen it will show you the current size (d) :-

then left click the corner, and move the cursor, you will see the readout change to show the current size.

You can also click in that little window (d) and input a size.
