Welp, my trial expired far too early while i was in the middle of making an avatar. Now i'm stuck and can't go any further without having to learn a whole new program or paying for the one i've been enjoying for months. Either option hurts. I'm really bummed out that i can't keep working.

Hi Console - there was a problem with the first version of the 30-day trial expiring too early (before the 30 days were up).

If that was the case for you, you should be able to download the updated version of the trial here: http://moi3d.com/download.htm which should solve the problem.

But it is generally intended that if you like the program and want to continue using it, that you would pay for it. Since you have been using it for months already, that should have been enough time for you to evaluate it and decide whether you wanted to buy it or not.

If you have some data for your avatar that you want to export, you can send the files to me at moi@moi3d.com, and I can save them out as an .obj file and send them back to you. You could then load your data into Blender or some other program to continue your work over there.

- Michael

I've tried Blender a few times. it's possibly the least intuitive program ever created. I can either pay, complain or wish you would work with the person responsible for sculpties in Second Life and make a very very basic version of your program the basic tools since sculpts are so limited anyway. i doubt this will happen, however. I love using this program and i have almost every day since i found it. oh well.

Console.
You are in the realm of REAL LIFE!
I am a 76 year old pensioner--can you imagine the angst I had to go through!
(And I had allready a $750 Nurbs app and thought the MoI purchase still worthwhile!)

I was soooo happy to be able to pay for this. Michael is doing an outstanding job creating and supporting a superior application. If you cannot afford it...get a RL job.

Also, Blender is a very powerful application and there are excellent video tutorials that cover the interface and work flow.

I really appreciate everyone's support. I don't think this needs to be discussed any more here, so I'm going to close this thread.
