Hello all,
Hello Michael.
Rudy here.
Purchased my copy of MOI a while ago...thank you Michael for this wonderful tool!

Does anybody know of a easy to use software that allow a simple rotation/animation of a model created in MOI?
let's say, a rendered and rototating model for presentation purposes?

Thank you,
Rudy

Hi Rudy, probably Carrara would work well for that:
http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/software/carrara/

Some other choices are trueSpace (http://www.caligari.com/) and Cinema4d (http://www.maxon.net/).

Some other people may have other recommendations.

- Michael

Carrara 6, even the dearer Pro version, is, still, about the best value for money as a very comprehensive 3D app. And about one of the easiest-- if thats not a contradiction in terms for 3D!!--to learn.
Top notch, free help and tutorials from several Carrara specialising forum sites and a great team of fans who produce fantastic plugins both for free or very, very low prices.
Note that it is now version 6--it has had a long and succesfull history.
I think it was listed as number 5 of the top ranking downloaded 3D apps recently!

If you are willing to dig into a program, Blender (www.blender.org) is a fantastic tool.

As others have posted, 3DWorld magazine has Carrara 5 for free on its disk this month.
