Hi Ron - I think the problem is your video card. I believe that card does not support the 3D graphics features that MoI needs in order to run.

In fact, I think that card is somewhere around 10 years old or so? In 3D graphics that's a very very long time.

So I'm sorry - MoI is not compatible with your current system, you will need to upgrade to a newer video card if you want to run it.

Let me know if you want some recommendations. MoI doesn't actually need a very powerful card, but it needs something more like only 5 years old instead of 10 years old.

- Michael

Thanks. I had a funny feeling it was the graphics card, the only problem for me was how to find the date it was manufactured.
I'm off to buy me a new graphics card now.

I appreciate the fast reply
Sincerely Ron

Hi Ron - be careful when you buy your new card though, you mentioned your old one was PCI. That is not really a common type of video card anymore so you may have some difficulty finding one of those in something like a local computer store (although you can order one online).

You'll want to know if your computer has an "AGP" slot in it or not.

If it does, then you'll probably want to get an AGP video card, which is more modern (although now being phased out itself) and has a lot more choices.
