I used one of the first public betas, but had not really time to parcipate actively on it.
But bought it some minutes ago, for that price a nobrainer.
Well tought out application that is fun to use!

just place my order a few minutes ago!

i'm a total noob at modeling and tried SubD modeling.
trying to "punch" a circular hole through a box, for example, is not a simple process in SubD.
Booleans don't work well with SubD.

finally, with MOI, i'll be able to learn modeling without having to think:
"surely, there's got be a simpler, easier way". :)

Definitely things involving booleans are going to be a lot easier in MoI. It's especially good for industrial or mechanical type man-made shapes.

SubD is strong in areas like organic modeling, stuff like faces, creatures, characters, ... - stuff that involves small scale details and little bumps and folds.

So you may want to switch between one or the other depending on the type of model that you are trying to build at the time.

i just place my order and got a reply via an automated phone call.
unfortunately, the phone call is only played once and there's no option to replay the message.
it might be a thing you'd want to iron out with plimus.

still, at my age, there is no rush and i'll check my e-mail tomorrow and contact plimus if needs be.

Hi Vince, I have sent you an e-mail with your download information so you won't have to wait.

I think that Plimus will try to call you again - they seem to do some extra checking with the first batch of orders from a new vendor like myself, to make sure that things like stolen credit cards are not being used.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I think this will get straightened out soon.

Got an email requesting a phone number for a call back. Being that it's 10pm on a Saturday nite, I'm not expecting a call.

But I have seen in the past that they send out the info even without a call back (I've used Plimus before so hopefully that'll help - we'll see)

There are some other ordering options than a credit card - you can do paypal or also mail a check or money order.

But you may actually want to wait because there will be a Chinese language version that will be sold by some distributors in China. That may be easier for you.

I'm not quite sure when the Chinese version will be ready, maybe a few more weeks.

Hi Michael and big congratulations to your Moi 1.0 release now! :) this was great news when i found out it gone final tonight.

It been a great four year period of developement, and the time has passed by so fast. Now i wish i had the money so i could afford to buy it, but since i'm unemployed i'm also broke and my investment has to wait quite some time. :( if/when there's a chance in the future i wanna invest in Moi as i used and enjoyed the beta's for a long long time now and you deserve some cash return for your hard work on this (and a long vacation).

Good to read all that post !!!

You told me once that i could get a free version of release 1 as a 3D teacher for my school (pole3d), but you worked so well and MOI3D is so good soft and so cheap one, that i think i'll empty my paypal account and order one copy for me...

remember : i wanted at the early hours to give you some money as a donation for helping dev that... now i can thak you, i'll do asap !
