happy 2008.

Is there a way to trim a surface...in this case (see JPG) I would like to trim it around the the flowery contour of this heighted Z surface, to get rid of the flat part, and keep just the flower, heighted part.

Any suggestion is appreciated,

Hi Rudy - to do this you will need to draw a curve in the top view that follows the outline that you want to trim out. Then select the flower surface, run Edit/Trim, and then select the curve as the cutting object.

ps Maybe for the "Whish list" : detect an outline of something ?
