Hi Momso, thanks for the list! I will add these to the wiki wishlist when I return home.

Some of these will probably take a while, like OffsetNormal, OffsetCrvOnSrf, and ExtendCrvOnSrf probably won't make it into V2. But I am going to work on several of the others for v2.

> - Pull (Pull curve to surface normal)

This one is available in MoI under Construct / Curve / Project, switch to Mode: Closest pt. But it is not completely reliable, it needs some bug fixing.

> - Split curve with point option

This one is available inside the Edit/Trim command, click the "Add trim points" button.

In MoI, the Split and Trim functions are combined into just one command - at the end instead of picking pieces to discard, just push enter or right click to keep all the pieces like Rhino's Split command.

Hi Michael

Thanks for the tip for Split.

Can I add one more function? It is 'Curve from 2 Views'. I think it is very good and useful function for modeling.

Sorry for the many lists. I know it can't be updated one time and it's just my suggestion. If there's something difficult to be loaded, forget about it. :-)

Have a nice day,
momso

I suppose this is already the plan (if possible), but its worth mentioning... if the MOI layers could be retained and transfer to Rhino layers, that would be great... and vice-versa would be great also. :-)

I am hoping for that too. Especially when bringing Rhino files into MoI...

Hi Nick, Hi Jonah - I will be shooting to do that.

If you want things to transfer well though you will probably have to restrict your use in MoI so that it is compatible with Rhino, like assigning an object to only be on one "layer" instead of on many, stuff like that.

Probably the initial attempts will not have this bidirectional capability added yet, it will probably come after a little bit into it when the structure of it is nailed down.

Hi Momso,

>>>- Devide curve by Length / by number of segments

Just use the "Array" along curve. That can be by lengh/ number of segments. Splitting etc can then be done if required.

>>>Can I add one more function? It is 'Curve from 2 Views'. I think it is very good and useful function for modeling.

Currently, you can perform boolean Isect which can give the same result. The curves are auto projected by extrude to give intersecting surfaces, these are split, so the intersecting edge can be copied/pasted. It is then just a need to delete the un-needed surfaces.

Hi Marc,

>>>Very interesting

It does work auto on curves created on the default cplanes. If the curves have been rotated etc, then I manually extrude the curves then perform Isect on the extruded surfaces.
I know it is a workaround, but it takes very little time.
