Hi Val - I took a look, but I'm sorry it doesn't look like anything else can be recovered from it.

Rhino has a "Rescue3DMFile" command that tries to salvage objects from corrupted files. I tried it over here but it didn't seem to be able to grab anything else out of there.

Before MoI overwrites an existing file, it does rename the existing one to filename_bak.3dm , and only removes the old one when the file writing has finished successfully.

So take a look and see if you have a scarf_bak.3dm file in that same folder or not.

- Michael

Ah nope that file is not there. Luckily before I began working on the lower portion of the body I started a new file, so part of my work is still safe. I will make sure to keep a back up from now on, which I should have done from the beginning.

Thanks,
Val.
