Image command documentation

A few observations while using Image command:

While using the Image Command to load a (jpg) image, an image was added to a MoI screen which had existing 3dm geometry.
The 3dm file was saved, WITHOUT > Properties > Embed checkbox selected.
Ended MoI session.

At a different computer, at home, a new MoI session was opened, using SSD thumbdrive to transport the files.
Upon reloading the 3dm file, the image may show up on the screen, or, if the image file is not in the expected folder, the image may not, (does not), show up. When Image Properties box was open, there was a temporary rectangle, which only showed up upon mouseover. (Bounding Box outline of the jpg?)
The jpg file was still listed in the image properties scroll-down box. This Non-embedded 3dm file apparently contains the Name of the image file, and its expected address, and also a "bounding box" (???) of the screen location of the (jpg) image. If the Image Properties box is opened, then pushing the Reload image button may or may not do anything(???). Right clicking on the image name there allows re-selection, and reload of the image, (or some other image).
(As does clicking on the ... box by the image name.???)
In this situation, the image file reloads in the same "bounding box."
Behavior appears the same in MoI4, and MoI5 beta.
(As I recollect, for the named, but unloaded image file, pushing the Hide button removed the image name from the Properties box???)

The Center drag feature for image movement can be documented, as well as the new MoI5 beta box size entries in the Image Properties box.

For an image embedded 3dm file, the size seems very large?
(The image file is not limited to jpg.)
(There may be errors in this post:-) )

Hi Brian, thanks - yes a background image that is not embedded will still have a coordinate frame location (origin + x/y/z axes) and width and height.

When loading the file if the non-embedded image cannot be found in its original path, it will also look in the same folder as the .3dm file that is being loaded.

Otherwise you can go into the image properties and update the path.
