CirclesInCircle.nod is an assemblage of nodes that places "n" number of circles (of unknown radius "r"), inside of a big circle of given radius R.
The equations could be adjusted to find R, given r.

Circumscribed Polygon of "n" sides may be placed with the side center points coinciding with the small circle centers.
The apothem of the polygon is the radius3 from the big circle center, to one of the said side center points.

An alternate node, to calculate R given r, was done, which worked.
But it has a divide by zero error when n = ONE small circle.

Scaling can adjust R or r to desired value.

Hi Michael and everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. It’s been ages since I last posted here.

I just wanted to repeat here what I mentioned in a newer thread about a recent update to the “NodeEditor” plugin, which was shared by the user “MO (MO_TE)” on the “NodeEditor Plus [Unofficial]” thread.

Has anyone here heard anything about the legendary Mr. Max Smirnov? It’s been years since he’s been active on the forum. Does anyone know if he’s even still alive? I’m serious, no joke.

Obviously, I don’t know him personally and never had the chance to meet him. I only know the incredible work he did here years ago, creating the amazing and super-powerful “Nodeeditor.”

That tool gave a huge boost to “Moi 3D,” which, honestly, feels pretty stagnant these days because of its painfully slow development pace—though it’s still one of the best 3D editors out there, no question.

I think we all owe Mr. Smirnov a lot of gratitude for what he created (not to mention all those incredible scripts he shared).

So yeah, I’m just wondering—has anyone heard anything about him?
