Hello All,
I'm having some really odd issues. The attached file is the outline for a Star Trek Federation Starship's B-C Deck, that's the raised structure just below the actual bridge. I've swept the basic shape, then shown points and pushed-pulled the observation area in the back into position. Now, I'd like to Boolean Difference using the rectangle there as the cutting surface or plane, removing part of the B-C Deck. Afterwards, I'd like to mirror what's left to its symmetrical, then create a solid from it. However, MOI won't let me Boolean it. The Boolean Difference command simply won't work. I've also tried using a solid as the cutter to remove, and the same thing happens. I suspect I'm doing something SUPER BASIC wrong, and I'm just too dense to see what's right in front of me. Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Bob
