See attached.

I gave up on what I wanted to do and drew this using 4 rectangles.

Visually it is what I want but I would like it to be one object.

Is that possible? If so, how do I do it?

I tried just using lines. I was able to join the 4 lines at the top and bottom to make two rectangles but I could not then join the vertical lines to the two rectangles.

While I wait for an answer I am going to return to feeling stupid.

I do not think that the line "wireframes" can be joined together, with vertices with 3 lines connected(?).

As a rectangular 3D box Solid, the edges are present.

If Yes, then use this process
- Build a box
- offset on edges of each dimensions (here the orange rectangles)
- Boolean Diff the box with the 3 dimensions rectangles

If you want only all the lines as an object, you could use a group

Select all your lines and create a group.
Selecting a line will select all the lines in the group.

But group possibilities are only in version 5.

Hi Frederick, curves in MoI are path-like objects - you can't have a single curve that branches like that with 3 lines coming out from a single point.

But like Phiro writes above if you want it to select as one unit you can do that in MoI v5 by making it into a group. You use the "Group" command which is off of the "Objects" section in the scene browser.
