MOI to Photoshop worklflow ?!

Hi,
I need to export LOTS of objects from MOI to Photoshop and hope to find a time-saving,
efficient workaround.
.
I attached an example object which consists of 29 separated pieces. The only way I found till
now is to copy and paste each of them as AI into Photoshop and rearrange them as they are
all placed in the center of the document. As there will be around 30 of such objects each made
up from around 30 pieces I would like to find a way which is faster than copy and paste 900
pieces in total which then will need to be rearranged. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hi Tom, currently I'm not understanding why you need to do it one piece at a time, what is it that happens if you transfer all the pieces at once in just one single copy/paste ?

Also is there a transfer method using exporting to AI/PDF/SVG format? If so then generating the files may be something that could be automated by a script in MoI.

Sorry i see only 24 objects!
Each object is not Named, Typed ... for some easy selection...

And you saved them in Hidden states so some headache for see them! :)

script: /* Object name = Style Name + Number */ var objs = moi.geometryDatabase.getObjects(); var styles = moi.geometryDatabase.getObjectStyles(); for ( var i = 0; i < objs.length; ++i ) { var obj = objs.item(i); obj.name = styles.item(obj.styleIndex).name + '_' + i; }

for make automatically something like that
BlueLayer_2, BlueLayer_3

Hi Michael, after you confirmed that it works importing it as a single piece I reinstalled
Photoshop and now finally - I get it imported as a single piece without errors. Thanks.
