That would definitely be easier. But is it really something that you need to do very frequently, where just one less click or so would make a difference?
If something doesn't need to be done very frequently, then it's sort of better not to have special options for it if there is a different way to do it pretty easily (like with just one extra step or something, like with a construction line in this case), because that really helps to keep the UI more streamlined.
I've got to be kind of careful not to just add in all conceivable options... But at the same time it is important to add in the options that are valuable. It's a delicate balance.
