Michael.
I would like to take this opportunity, while v5 is in Beta, to make a case for floating palettes.
Some of us have three or more giant screens, but we are still condemned to poke through closed palettes looking for that action that we cannot remember where it was hiding. And it takes away from the free flowing and simple creative nature of this software to have to click first to open the palette, then click again when we spot our target. If there was a way to free the palettes we could arrange them beside the work screens in a position best for ourselves, and KEEP THEM OPEN AT ALL TIMES, which will give us the control we need.
You have given us a couple of palette options, both of which are okay but not perfect.
I have no idea what kind of work would be involved, software and code being a complete mystery to me.
But please consider it.
Please note this is not meant to be a slam. Whatever you decide, MOI will remain head and shoulders the best software for my purposes, it is quick and easy, without the incredible complexity and flummoxability - or indeed price - of some of those unattainable OTHER softwares.
I know your busy, and you do a fantastic job. And the way you quickly deal with random questions from everybody at all levels of skill, without complaints, while running a company and writing software, makes me wonder where you find the time.
Anyway. Thats my case.
Simon.
