Question ...if I have an object that is rotated in certain view...how would I align it quickly to a desired view.
align to right, front etc?

Attached a sample file....so to align the red face to views?

hi Matadem, probably the easiest way for this case is to use the Transform > Rotate command:



Another way is if you have a plane surface that you want to match up to, the Transform > Orient command can be good for that:

You could put a CPlane on the red face…

I prefere Orient / line-line...more possibilities! :)

Cplane does it quite fast but how do I set it to ex. the right side?

I am playing with Blender these days...there is an option ex. to align your camera to view.
Sonething like that could be handy In Moi in the future...select item and align to the desired view.

The CPlane manipulator the “Y” is the front and back direction and the “x” is the left and right
