Lag on large files (V4)

hello everyone, I'm working on a particularly large file, and unfortunately the program lag so much and I'd like to ask for some advice.
first some info:
the program is extremely non-responsive and moving or rotating the camera is very laggy;
unfortunately, I can't split the workflow into more files (i actually did this but the last part requires all the sub-files together);
the file size is close to a giga (930Mb).
My system is kinda robust: (i7-10700KF - nvidia 3080 - 32Gb RAM)
when MoI 3d runs with the large file loaded the task manager shows that: it uses ~ 5Gb ram - very little CPU usage - and when moving the camera/rotating spike at ~ 45% GPU usage
is there something I can do to improve the performance?
or is the V5 beta better at handling large files so i should upgrade?
any help would be more than welcome! thanks in advance!

p.s. (i know having files this large is asking a lot to the program, but if there is any way to bump its performance even by a little i have to take the chance xD )

Hi Skywolf95, there are some settings you can adjust to help with large files.

Before loading your heavy file, go to Options > View > Meshing parameters and set "Mesh angle" to a rougher angle like 25 or 35 degrees and uncheck "Add detail to inflections".

That will make for a rougher display mesh for drawing shaded surfaces, the default is fairly dense.

Also maybe uncheck "Display hidden lines".

V5 does have display performance improvements in some areas, especially for annotation text.
