Hi Rudl, the sort of drawing that is being created is sometimes referred to as a "hidden line" style of drawing.

So when it says "Generating hidden lines", it's just another way of saying "Generating the illustration".

It will say that regardless of which different categories of lines are enabled or disabled.

Hope that makes more sense.

Hi Michael, thanks for yout quick answer. What preferences must I choose, that I just see the faces and edges of the visible bodies?

Hi Rudl,

re:

Turn off (uncheck) the options for "Generate outlines", "Generate silhouettes", and "Generate hidden lines".

That will leave just visible lines being generated, which are always generated. There is no checkbox for turning off visible lines like there are for the other optional types of lines.

If you're running into a problem where lines are bleeding through where they should be hidden it probably means your model is at a too large or too small scale. Try sizing your model so that it is something around 100 units across and not say 10000 units across. You can also try setting the "Canvas megapixel resolution" option to be higher like say 35 or 45.

Hi Rudl,

re:

If you click on the size that is being shown, a menu will pop up that will let you edit the size:
