Exporting a model

Hi all

I have watched all the video's I can find on exporting a model as STL but when I try it they come out a bit messy what can I study to get past this.

Under “divide larger than” select “all” from the dropdown, then place a value that relates to the size you want thos polygons you see diced up more evenly…

I also use the “avoid smaller than” value in conjunction to dial in a constraint on my desired sizes.

That should get you going.

Hi John, move the slider all the way towards the right where it says "More polygons".

Then like Burr mentions above put in a distance value for "Divide larger than", which will make any polygons larger than that size to get subdivided.

Something like Divide larger than = 0.3 might be a good value for your object size there, with the dropdown set to "All".

That will then make everything diced up into smaller pieces, looking like this:
