How does one prevent the see-through issue on thin objects ?

Hello Michael and everyone,

I often get a slight see-through visual artefact on thin parts, or around the corner of objects as seen here :

While this isn't much of a problem for the actual drafting and modeling, it can still get visually confusing.
In regular polygon based 3d software this is often solved by tweaking the precision of the 3d sorting, by tweaking the clipping planes for z-depth.
Is there something similar in MOI ?

(Oddly enough the issue is the same even if the part is scaled up)

Thanks !

Hi pior, sorry no there currently isn't any way to get rid of that display artifact.

If you want to make a screenshot try exporting to PDF format instead of just taking a screenshot of the regular viewport display.

I have some ideas that I would like to work on in the future for improving the display to avoid bleed through.

Understood !
As said this is pretty minor and doesn't cause any actual error when drafting part. It's just a bit confusing for selection sometimes, since (if I am not mistaken), in MOI visible = selectable.
