Hi FDP, here is a script that will create an image to match a selected rectangle, select the rectangle before running it.

The image will be stretched to match the width and height of the rectangle without keeping the original image's aspect ratio.

This will definitely help streamline my workflow to remove image editing software from the mix.

If you are interested in my application/use, I sometimes use MoI for making optical measurements with a telecentric imaging setup. The less I process the images before bringing them into MoI the better.

It's very ad-hoc and I change the image sensor pretty frequently, but I get a lot of value and efficiency out of the pairing of MoI and the telecentric rig and I am yet to find a CAD software with a better sketch interface than MoI.
