what would be the fastest way to switch between dark and bright layout? Making a copy folder of the original bright (light grey) setting and copy and past from there to the correct destination folder?

To switch UI theme, perhaps a shortcut key script for version 5 beta?

Hi Axel, sorry I don't quite understand the question.

First of all let me make sure - are you talking about the version 5 beta and the new "UI Theme" function?

There is an option to switch it under the Options dialog, under Options > General > "UI Theme".

But there are already dark and light themes built in and you can switch just by changing the dropdown here, you don't need to copy any files just to do a switch:

Hi Axel, yes you can get the v5 beta at https://moi3d.com/beta.htm and one of the major new functions in it is a new UI Theme mechanism.

You can switch between themes there and there is also an editor for making your own customized one.

...I would like to add that I really like the theme management feature. It's great to get it customized in a real-time mode and you see immediately the changes you did without trial and error and restarting MOI3D after each change :))
